Yamada Shokai HD aims to enhance the resilience of towns, countries, and the Earth, and to enrich the lives of the people who live there, in an era of many coming changes, such as a declining birthrate, aging population, aging infrastructure, and worsening natural disasters.

In December 2024, we launched the Tokai Chapter of the "Livability Resilience Project" to build sustainable social infrastructure and businesses from the perspectives of both peacetime and contingency, and have created partnerships with many people who share our vision. Helical Fusion is a venture company that promotes research and development of helical fusion reactors and aims to realize a sustainable energy supply. The company is pursuing the commercialization of safe and efficient fusion energy using advanced simulation technology. Yamada Shokai HD invested in the company together with OKB Capital Co., Ltd. and LEVANES Corporation, a regional financial institution group. We will contribute to the social implementation of fusion reactors by utilizing our own engineering technology, and will work to foster and support deep-tech ventures that will change the world from the Tokai region.

Blue Whale Energy is developing a virtual power plant (VPP) platform that integrates and controls distributed energy resources such as solar, storage batteries, and EVs with IoT to function like a large-scale power plant. Yamada Shokai HD has formed a research and capital alliance with Terra Labs and established the Tokai Branch of the "Livability Resilience Project," aiming to implement and disseminate complex disaster response technologies that utilize independent and decentralized infrastructure, drones, satellite data, etc. that can function both during normal times and in emergency situations.

Liberaware Inc. 
Liberaware has developed one of the world's smallest drones specialized for inspection and measurement of "narrow, dark, dangerous" and "indoor spaces" and is engaged in infrastructure inspection and maintenance management solutions using image data. Yamada Shokai HD has formed a business alliance with Liberaware to promote DX for infrastructure inspection and maintenance management using IBIS2, the world's smallest drone. The drone confirmed the possibility of reducing the time required to inspect the attic from three days with four people to about half a day with the use of a drone.

ShrimpTech JIRCAS is engaged in consulting, contract research, production and sales of juvenile shrimps based on a fully enclosed land aquaculture system, utilizing the research results of the Japan International Research Center for Agricultural Sciences (JIRCAS). In the closed-cycle land-based aquaculture of banamei shrimp using the ARK ZERO system, we have begun joint research to verify the optimization of rearing conditions, production management, growth rate, and yield. Through this joint research, we will work to improve resilience in the food sector through stable production and standardization of operations.
