Yamada Shokai Holding Corporation (headquartered in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture; Junji Shimizu, President) has conducted gas restoration activities following the Northern Osaka Earthquake that occurred on June 18, 2018.

As a member of the Toho Gas Tokai-Hokuriku Subcommittee, we dispatched 69 staff members to the site to work on restoring gas service to 12,139 homes in the Ibaraki City area of Osaka Prefecture. With safety as our top priority, we worked quickly and efficiently to restore the lives of many residents as quickly as possible.

 

 

Through this activity, we have once again realized the role and responsibility of gas supply as an important infrastructure for the local community. We will continue to support the lives of local residents by further strengthening our technical and emergency response capabilities.
