(headquartered in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture; Toyohisa Yamada, President; hereinafter "Yamada Shokai HD") spoke at the "Opinion Exchange Meeting for the Establishment of Disaster Countermeasure Information Support Network in Case of Nankai Trough Earthquake" held at the Nagoya Airport Terminal Building on March 11, 2025.

Representative Director Toyohisa Yamada explained the efforts made during normal times to prepare for disasters in a case study presentation titled "Infrastructure Construction Businesses' Efforts to Prepare for the Nankai Trough Earthquake. In addition, Tomoya Nishimura of Rivanes Corporation introduced the "Resilience Project Tokai Branch" launched by Yamada Shokai HD, Rivanes Corporation, and Terra Labs Corporation last December.

Senior Managing Director Hiroyuki Suzuki also participated in the discussion that followed, exchanging opinions with the other speakers on the roles of government, companies, and local communities in times of disaster, and how information networks should be established that take advantage of the strengths of each.

Yamada Shokai HD will continue to contribute to the maintenance and strengthening of local resilience through infrastructure construction, and to develop human resources who can respond quickly to emergency situations.
